Day 26

I continued working on the particles today. Since I decided on the feel of it already, I applied it to the terrain cracking. It was quite a challenge though, doing it. But the way I went around doing it was that I grouped the points around the edges together and emit particles from the group. But I encountered a problem. The boundingbox doesn't following the terrain cracking apart. So when I emit particels, It will only appear in the crack line centre.

But anyway, below is how it looks:






Mr Douglas also told me the problems that is in my hip file which causes the splitting of the Earth to stop. The problem is that in my hip file and in the point node which controls the splitting of the terrain for both left and right side, there isn't enough frame numbers, and he also advised me that the box driving the terrain fracturing should be bigger and cover more than the whole terrain.
